Location Location , How do You Choose Your Wedding Location?

So, you have your photographer, you have your dress, what about your location.   This is probably the second most important decision you need to make about your wedding.   I have done weddings in so many different places.   Anywhere from some one’s backyard to a condo where the entire wedding party stayed for five days and took all three floors for that week.

Some of the most important questions you should be asking yourself are as follows:

How many people are coming to your wedding?  Check before hand to see if they can handle the amount of people you plan to invite.  What is the theme of your wedding?  Can they handle what you want your wedding to be about.  What city will you be getting married in?  Do they provide the amenities or do you?  Do they provide a wedding planner or do you?  When do you need to be done with the wedding?Who is responsible for cleaning up the wedding afterwards?  These are just a few questions you need to ask.

I have run into a few places that would be perfect for your weddings.   One in Scurry Texas and one in Kansas City Missouri.   If these don’t work for you, look for something like them.

First, Scurry Texas has a family farm called Fox Tail Ranch that will allow you to have your dream wedding around animals. Horses, pigs, cows and other animals.   They provide the land and you provide everything else.   This is a place that can handle a lot of people, cars and weddings.   I love going out there just to get away from the big city. It is only about 30 mins from downtown Dallas.

Second, is a place in Independence Missouri.   They provide everything.   You can have your dream wedding.   It is called My Secret Garden.  Link to video of My Secret Garden (https://youtu.be/FOAGHGNlOfE) It is one heck of a secret.   In the middle of the city is a forest in the middle of town.   A 20-foot waterfall.   A movie theater for the kids, and a reception area you can make into anything you want.   Even if you can’t book it, take a look at it, you will never see anything like it.

Wherever you plan to have your wedding, make sure you look into a reputable place that you can trust.   Look at their reviews, check to make sure they meet your requirements.   Congrats on your wedding, we look forward to working with you soon.
