You are getting married. You have your photographer, your dress, invitations, and flowers. What about your location? This is probably the second most important decision you need to make about your wedding. I have done weddings all over the world; from a small backyard ceremony to a condo where the entire wedding party stayed for five days and took all three floors for an entire week.
Some of the most important questions you should be asking yourself are as follows:
How many people are coming to your wedding? Check before hand to see if they can handle the amount of people you plan to invite. What is the theme of your wedding? Can they handle what you want your wedding to be about? What city will you be getting married in? Does the venue provide the amenities? Do they provide a wedding planner? How many hours can you rent the venue for? Who is responsible for cleaning up the wedding afterwards?
I have run into a few places that provided a perfect wedding venue. First, Scurry, Texas has a family farm called Fox Tail Ranch that will allow you to have your dream wedding around animals such as horses, pigs, cows and other animals. They provide the land, and you provide everything else. This is a place that can handle a lot of people, automobiles and weddings. It is only about 30 mins from downtown Dallas.
Second, is a place in Independence Missouri. They provide everything and you can have your dream wedding. It is called My Secret Garden. Link to video of My Secret Garden (https://youtu.be/FOAGHGNlOfE) It is a great best kept of secret. It is located in the middle of the city and includes a forest like setting, a 20-foot waterfall, movie theater for the kids, and a reception area you can make into anything you want. Even if you cannot book it, take a look at it, you will never see anything like it.
Wherever you plan to have your wedding, make sure you consider a reputable place that you can trust. Look at their reviews and check to make sure they meet your requirements. Congratulation on your upcoming wedding and we look forward to working with you soon.
