Senior Photos
It is that time of year again, time for your senior pictures. I love senior pictures as they are memories that will last a lifetime. It shows the world, from here to the end of time, what you did your senior year of high school.
There are many things to consider when taking senior pictures. Think about what your hobbies are and begin there. If you are an artist, take pictures with your paint, your drawings, whatever it is you do your art with, or the final product. If you play an instrument, use that instrument in at least one picture. Are you on a team of any type? Take a picture in your school colors, school jacket, etc. There are so many possibilities!
Location is Key
Where to take the pictures? That is the most fun of all. If you like the great outdoors, take your pictures in a wooded area. The great thing about that is you do not need a lot of room to make it look like you are in the great outdoors. You can take pictures on the school grounds; I have met some people at their school as a location. Go to your favorite trail, park, hangout. One of my favorite places is Prairie Creek Park
Right next to my studio is a waterfall that produces a great photo for anyone. The Dallas skyline is also a great backdrop for photos. There is a hotel with a bar on top of the roof that has a great view of the skyline and a never-ending pool. I also know of a golf course where you can really get good shots of the skyline. The point is, think about all of your location options and talk to your photographer to get the best location for your shoot.
The best thing about Senior Pictures, they are a way for you to make a memory to last a lifetime. They are your choice, whatever you decide to do. Never forget that. Congratulations on your graduation. Remember, you have so much more to look forward to in your future, but do not forget to have fun with the now. Make your senior pictures the best pictures you have taken, so far that is.
