About David Mauséy
While serving as a member of the U.S. Navy. David was stationed in San Vito Italy and Pensacola FL. David Mauséy’s love for photography was ignited by the desire to document his experiences and capture the extraordinary imagery and history of the Old-World countries.
While in the Navy, his passion for a good photo started while taking pictures of military personnel and families to send back home. He also loved taking pictures for the Navy newsletter on base. Upon returning to the United States his portfolio and hobby grew as he found himself being asked by friends and family members to photograph special events and create portraiture. David’s ability to capture unique and exciting action shots caught attention. he became a regular on the field snapping pictures with the Kansas City Chiefs and later became the staff photographer for the Ozark Mountain Ducks minor league baseball team in Springfield, Missouri.
As his skills developed, he broadened his photography horizons into the fast paced and professionally challenging field of family, wedding and underwater photography which resulted in his most passionate collection of work to date. His recent move to Garland Texas in 2006 developed his passion into a profession. Having been published in several magazines and even using his talents to help several charities.
He enjoys his current work as it allows him to show a flair for the dramatic – creating art that comes from a unique combination of the camera’s eye and the mind’s vision. His motivation is continually fueled by seeing and hearing the “wow factor” when he presents his work to clients for viewing.
Most Important
Making sure the client is happy to hang his work on their wall for generations to come. On his off-time David enjoys being with his daughter, fishing, reading, boating, leaning more about his craft, camping and traveling. One day he hopes to show his work in museums and art shows.
